
Siemens Healthineers and Singapore General Hospital (SGH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a five-year strategic partnership to enhance patient care.
The collaboration aims to enhance patient care by developing new technologies, clinical solutions, and data-driven approaches to improve diagnostics and treatment protocols.
The MOU, signed at Siemens Healthineers’ headquarters in Erlangen, Germany, focuses on hands-on training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
It aims to build expertise and capacity and pave the way for future advancements in AI-driven diagnostics, digital health solutions, and sustainability initiatives.
Siemens Healthineers Singapore and Malaysia managing director Siow Ai Li said: “Singapore General Hospital has always been our valued partner in diagnostic imaging, and this partnership marks a significant step forward in driving medical innovation and enhancing patient outcomes.

According to Siemens Healthineers, the partnership focuses on three key pillars, clinical research, education, and future-ready healthcare.
Siemens Healthineers and SGH will enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities through joint research initiatives and clinical trials.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen innovation and improve patient care by developing new technologies and clinical solutions.
To promote education and training, Siemens Healthineers will support SGH with the latest knowledge and skills.
It will also offer hands-on training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to build expertise and capacity, delivering improved patient care.
By focusing on AI-driven diagnostics, digital health solutions, and sustainability initiatives, the partnership aims to deliver future-ready healthcare.

A steering committee will oversee and guide activities under the strategic partnership and MOU, determining future areas of focus for various workstreams.
