ShiftMed has partnered with Powers Health to introduce Indiana’s first on-demand nursing workforce technology at Community Hospital.
The partnership marks the initial deployment of such technology within the state, aiming to expand nursing support significantly.
Through the collaboration, Powers Health is utilising ShiftMed’s scheduling platform and its comprehensive network of qualified healthcare personnel. The initiative will bolster the hospital’s internal staffing capabilities by providing additional on-demand nursing staff to complement the existing teams.
ShiftMed CEO and founder Todd Walrath said: “We’re excited to partner with Powers Health and introduce our workforce technology platform to Indiana. This collaboration highlights Community Hospital’s dedication to the health and well-being of its community.
“The support provided by ShiftMed extends beyond full-time and On-Demand staff – it ultimately enhances patient outcomes and the overall care experience. We look forward to seeing the positive impact our platform will have on this community and the future growth of our partnership.”

“This strategic partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of care for individuals across Northwest Indiana while also supporting the well-being of our valued healthcare providers.
