Quanta Dialysis Technologies has signed a strategic, multi-year partnership with Innovative Renal Care (IRC) to expand access to its dialysis systems in the US.
The collaboration aims to enhance advanced dialysis solutions within selected IRC programmes, with an emphasis on improving patient care and operational efficiency.
Quanta’s dialysis system was validated across various care settings through a pilot conducted earlier this year at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Centre, Iowa.
The pilot’s success led to a purchase agreement between IRC and Quanta.
The partnership covers capital equipment, disposables, and possible electronic medical record integration to automate therapy monitoring and data insights.
Quanta CEO Alejandro Galindo said: “We are incredibly energised by this opportunity to collaborate with Innovative Renal Care to provide patients access to the best kidney care available.
“Our journey in the U.S. started in acute care because we wanted to prove Quanta can operate in the most complex and challenging of environments.
“IRC is paving the way to bring much-needed innovations to the hospital environment, and we are proud of the momentum we built together throughout 2025.
“This agreement validates that leading dialysis providers recognise the clinical, operational, and economic benefits that Quanta brings.”
IRC plans to extend the use of Quanta’s system, highlighting its prescription flexibility, portability, user-friendly design, and cost-saving operational benefits.
The partnership provides IRC with a competitive edge in managing patient care, reducing delays, and simplifying dialysis programme complexity.
Quanta’s dialysis system supports IRC’s operations in environments with limited infrastructure or staffing, such as hospitals or homes.
IRC chief nursing officer Sara Brady said: “Our care teams are excited to have an innovative, new option for dialysis for acute care patients.
“The ability to make immediate treatment adjustments all on the same platform is a game-changer.
“We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with MercyOne Waterloo and Quanta to bring this technology to the state of Iowa.”
