Prompt Health has acquired PredictionHealth to enhance AI integration in rehab therapy, creating an AI-driven platform that reduces administrative tasks and enhances outcomes.
The acquisition aims to redefine electronic medical records (EMR) systems for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and chiropractic practices.
PredictionHealth co-founders Pedro Teixera, Ravi Atreya, Adam Kever, and other leadership will occupy key roles in Prompt.
Their combined expertise will drive the development of an EMR system that integrates intelligence directly into clinical workflows.
The EMR system will help documentation-focused systems shift to action-oriented platforms.
The new platform will embed AI into clinical and operational processes, minimising administrative burdens, enhancing compliance, and uncovering financial opportunities.
AI-driven documentation, predictive insights, and optimised coding features will elevate its role in rehab therapy, addressing challenges such as documentation and staffing shortages.
Prompt Health co-founder Mike Dwyer said: “Rehab therapy clinics are facing more pressure than ever, margin compression, staffing shortages, and rising expectations around care and compliance.
“To thrive in this environment, practices need to operate as efficiently as possible. That’s why we’re so excited to be joining forces with PredictionHealth.
“By combining our teams and technologies, we’re embedding AI more deeply across the entire Prompt platform—not just for clinicians, but for billers, front desk staff, patients, and practice leaders. This is about helping every role in the clinic do their best work, faster.”
Prompt and PredictionHealth’s collaboration promises an AI-powered platform that tackles current challenges and positions clinics for long-term success.
The combination aims to transform practice management in rehab therapy by reducing manual work and providing actionable insights.
Key features of the combined platform include AI Intake, Sidekick AI Scribe, Practice Intel Analytics, RCM Automation, and Predictive Patient Tools.
The innovations support clinicians, billers, administrators, and patients through a unified command centre, driving better outcomes and operational efficiency.
Clinics using Prompt report significant improvements, including a 75% reduction in documentation time, a 30% compliance boost, and a 20% rise in CPT codes accuracy.
The acquisition strengthens Prompt’s position as an AI-powered platform for rehab therapy.
PredictionHealth co-founder Pedro Teixeira said: “Ravi Atreya and I founded PredictionHealth to make it easy for clinicians to deliver the best care to every patient, every time.
“We’re so proud to join forces with Prompt Health to accelerate our progress towards this vision.
“Our longtime partnership and seamless integration with Prompt’s platform creates a win-win for rehab therapy clinics and patients. Together, we’re taking our innovation to the next level.”
