US-based healthcare AI platform Notable has joined forces with Imperial Valley Healthcare District to enhance patient care through streamlined registration and intake processes.
The partnership aims to improve the patient experience for the health system’s 75,000 annual appointments using advanced AI technology to automate administrative tasks.
Imperial Valley Healthcare District is said to be the only health system in Imperial Valley and San Diego with ISO 9001 certification and aims to maintain high standards of patient health and safety.
Its collaboration with Notable will address the healthcare provider’s common frustrations associated with doctor visits, such as long wait times and manual paperwork.
By integrating Notable’s AI platform, Imperial Valley Healthcare District will automate pre-visit registration, appointment reminders, and clinical intake forms.
The automation reduces administrative burdens, allowing staff to focus on personalised patient care and complex inquiries, delivering a smoother and efficient appointment process.
Notable AI platform is deployed at over 12,000 care sites, automating millions of tasks daily.
It enhances workforce productivity, reduces operational costs, and improves the patient experience by minimising administrative fragmentation.
The healthcare platform is supported by investors like 8VC, F-Prime, Greylock Partners, ICONIQ Growth, Maverick Ventures, and Oak HC/FT.
Notable chief medical officer Aaron Neinstein said: “There are over two million open administrative roles across the US healthcare system.
“Organisations can’t fill roles fast enough, and patients feel that burden whenever they are greeted with a clipboard instead of a smile or sit in a waiting room well past their appointment time.
“By digitising, personalising, and automating administrative tasks, Notable’s platform and AI-powered Agents free up staff and clinicians to focus on what’s most important: patient care.”
