Nabla has raised $70m in Series C funding led by HV Capital and Highland Europe to advance Nabla’s AI capabilities and expand its reach in healthcare settings.
Other participants in the funding round, which brings the total funding to $120m, include DST Global, Cathay Innovation, and Tony Fadell’s Build Collective.
Nabla intends to use the funds to develop its Adaptive Agentic Platform, which comprises a Proactive Coding Agent, a Context-Aware Agent, and a Custom Care Setting Agent.
The Proactive Coding Agent will enhance real-time coding support, the Context-Aware Agent will improve patient documentation and EHR commands, and the Custom Care Setting Agent will be customised for nurses and frontline roles.
HV Capital Partner Alexander Joel-Carbonell said: “Nabla stands out as a pioneer in clinical AI, not just for its bold vision, but for its enterprise-grade product and remarkable speed of execution. What Alex, Delphine, and Martin have built is nothing short of extraordinary.
“I’ve rarely seen a technology scale this quickly, earn this level of trust, and deliver such exceptional accuracy.
“Today, more than 130 Tier 1 healthcare organisations rely on Nabla, a testament to the team’s ability to pair technological excellence with deep empathy for clinicians. It’s a privilege to support this exceptional team on their mission to transform healthcare.”
Nabla’s AI assistant is currently used by more than 130 healthcare organisations in the US, including CVS Health and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
It is available in 35 languages and is widely used in rural hospitals and children’s hospitals, integrating with major EHR systems like Epic and Cerner.
The platform enhances clinical documentation and streamlines workflows by integrating ambient listening, dictation, coding, and command capabilities into a unified system.
It can process over 30 billion tokens monthly, ensuring continuous refinement and delivering measurable ROI for health systems.
Nabla has seen significant growth, multiplying its revenue by five in the past six months and supporting over 85,000 clinicians and 20m annual encounters.
Also, the company is a part of the Coalition for Health AI, which contributes to responsible AI governance in clinical care.
Nabla co-founder and CEO Alex Lebrun said: “We’re going even deeper into clinical workflows while continuing to offer a highly customisable assistant that works across specialities.
“Clinicians already trust our accuracy and speed, and this funding allows us to expand that impact by embedding intelligent support directly into care delivery.
“We see a future where AI not only documents care, but actively drives efficiency by executing actions within complex clinical workflows and environments.”
