Hellocare.ai, an AI-powered telehealth and virtual healthcare delivery platform, has partnered with the Mayo Clinic to co-develop ambient clinical intelligence technology.

The partnership aims to transform healthcare by reducing hospitalisations, illness severity, and enhancing patient quality of life through advanced artificial intelligence solutions.

The move follows Hellocare.ai’s recent capital raise of $47m in an oversubscribed funding round, led by HealthQuest Capital, to enhance AI-assisted virtual care.

Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science professor of medicine Michael Maniaci said: “Our recent hospital expansion is more than just adding beds; it’s about reimagining the patient and clinician experience.

“By integrating advanced technologies like ambient clinical intelligence and digital engagement tools, we’ve created a care environment where patients are more connected and clinicians can focus more on personalised care.”

Based in Clearwater, Florida, Hellocare.ai is a provider of AI-assisted virtual care solutions.

The company is rapidly expanding its reach beyond the US, aiming to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care while enhancing clinical efficiency and staff wellbeing.

Its integrated platform, currently operational in over 70 health systems, easily embeds into existing healthcare systems, powering the next generation of healthcare delivery.

The platform is designed to support healthcare providers in early detection, reduce clinician workload, and promote safer inpatient care.

It offers AI-assisted services like ambient documentation, digital whiteboards, and hospital-at-home services.

Organisations are increasingly adopting Hellocare.ai’s solutions to improve patient outcomes, alleviate clinician burnout, and modernise care delivery.

Hellocare.ai founder and CEO Labinot Bytyqi said: “Collaborating with Mayo Clinic, the number one hospital in the world, on ambient clinical intelligence allows us to push the boundaries of what’s possible with AI, resulting in smarter, safer, and more responsive care at scale.”

Mayo Clinic in Florida CEO Kent Thielen said: “At Mayo Clinic in Florida, our mission is to combine world-class care with innovation that anticipates and solves tomorrow’s healthcare challenges.

“Innovative technology is playing a key role in our new hospital expansion—enabling smarter, more connected care environments that enhance both the patient and staff experience.”
