US-based healthcare technology company NextGen Healthcare has been selected by Elite DNA Behavioral Health (Elite DNA) to enhance patient experience.
Established in 2013, Elite DNA provides both in-person and virtual mental health services, including behavioural health services to children, adolescents, and adults.
The company offers individual, couples, family and trauma therapy, psychiatry, and other services, with plans to open several new sites this year and expand its operations in Florida.
NextGen’s Enterprise EHR (electronic health record) and NextGen Enterprise PM (practice management) solutions will boost interoperability across Elite DNA’s locations.

According to NextGen, 63% of adults in Florida are affected by anxiety or depression and they did not receive treatment in the past year.
The company said that its Patient Engage and Self-Scheduling solutions, both powered by Luma, will allow patients to manage their care more effectively.
The tools will provide self-scheduling, pre-visit intake, e-prescription refill requests, and ongoing healthcare management from their mobile devices.
NextGen Mobile allows providers to access the EHR from anywhere and NextGen Ambient Assist will transcribe conversations with patients in real-time, using AI, to summarise patient encounters within seconds.
Furthermore, the NextGen Charge Review Rules Engine will improve claims accuracy and optimise revenue cycle management, enhancing staff efficiency.
