Cognizant has launched the TriZetto AI Gateway, a new product aimed at integrating generative AI capabilities within its TriZetto platform.
The AI Gateway addresses challenges such as secure and compliant AI integration, providing a single access point for TriZetto software to interact with AI agents.
It helps organisations meet regulatory requirements and maintain operational efficiency while adopting AI and automation.
The solution offers secure access for AI interactions based on client-defined governance, TriZetto openAccess services, and other data sources.
It aims to support numerous AI agents across the TriZetto portfolio, with more in development, benefiting Cognizant clients by improving efficiency.
The development is part of Cognizant’s strategy to enhance healthcare delivery and support digital transformation.
Cognizant VP and chief product officer Diana Sonbay-Benli said: “With TriZetto AI Gateway and the TriZetto Assistant, we’re enabling a new class of intelligent operations, modular, secure, and deeply embedded in the healthcare ecosystem.

Early users of the AI Gateway have reported significant time savings in care management and claims processing.
The solution also includes enterprise-grade features like identity management, single sign-on, role-based access controls, and cost transparency.
It sets the stage for TriZetto Assistant, an embedded feature that simplifies workflows and automates tasks within TriZetto interfaces.
The AI Gateway will be available this month, exclusively for clients using TriZetto products, ensuring seamless integration and governance.
TriZetto, Cognizant’s healthcare portfolio, is used by payers and providers to manage claims and services for over 200m members and 875,000 providers.
It aims to reduce administrative burdens and allow healthcare teams to focus more on patient care.
