CarePilot, a firm providing artificial intelligence (AI)-based medical documentation, has expanded its partnership with Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) in Plano, Texas, US.
The latest move follows a successful pilot of CarePilot’s ambient AI technology in several CHC facilities.
Under the collaboration, CHC will now deploy and distribute CarePilot’s AI scribe solution across their managed and affiliated hospitals in the country.
CarePilot’s ambient AI technology converts spoken clinical conversations into detailed, structured documentation. It captures conversations ambiently or monologues directly into CarePilot.
The AI turns your spoken words into accurate clinical notes in real-time. It helps save time and allows one to focus on editing rather than writing documentation.
This allows clinicians to focus more on patient care and less on administrative tasks.
It helps complete notes and paste them wherever needed.
The technology is also designed for easy integration into existing clinical workflows.
The partnership aims to streamline workflows and improve the patient experience across CHC’s network.
CHC Information Technology regional vice president Joe Ford said: “We’re excited to work with CarePilot to bring AI to community health care and improve the experience for our patients and providers.”
“We’re committed to bringing cutting-edge technology to rural and community hospitals. Our collaboration with CarePilot and their ambient AI platform is a testament to that commitment.
“By automating documentation in ambulatory, ED, and inpatient settings, and ensuring seamless compatibility with various EHRs, we’re not only improving operational efficiency, but also making this advanced technology accessible to our dedicated healthcare professionals, ultimately driving better patient outcomes in the communities we serve.”
CHC is known for supporting community-based hospitals nationwide. It manages and supports the operations of 23 hospitals and extends its reach to over 200 network hospitals through CHC Consulting, IT management, Telecom, and Supply Chain programmes.
The group aims to improve community healthcare. By adopting CarePilot’s AI solution, the partnership aims to reduce administrative tasks, enhance clinical documentation, and promote more meaningful patient-provider interactions.
