Cardio Partners, a division of Sarnova, has acquired RescueStat, a healthcare technology firm specialising in defibrillator management and remote monitoring.

Established by ER physicians, RescueStat brings 20 years of expertise in automated external defibrillator (AED) oversight and smart monitoring technology.

The acquisition aligns with Cardio Partners’ goal of providing responders with essential tools and training for life-saving interventions.

It aims to strengthen Cardio Partners’ efforts in improving survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest and expand its reach across the US.

Cardio Partners president Lawrence Franchetti said: “Bringing RescueStat into the Cardio Partners family is a strategic move that deepens our capabilities and advances our shared mission.

“Together, we are better equipped to empower customers with more choices, seamless solutions, and exceptional support in the fight against sudden cardiac arrest.”

Cardio Partners provides emergency preparedness solutions, including CPR training and AED deployments. It operates under Sarnova, a healthcare product distributor.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Cardio Partners’ product offerings and support infrastructure.

It is set to reinforce Sarnova’s and Cardio Partners’ support for vendors and partners, opening avenues for collaboration.

Customers can anticipate a wider range of products and improved service capabilities.
